Ciamillo has been building custom super-light road cycling components since 2002. With over 30 years experience in CNC machining and carbon fiber molding processes, we are dedicated to applying this knowledge and craftsmanship to every component we build. The custom aspect of Ciamillo components goes beyond color selection and sizing; we have available solutions for accommodating specialized

Specializing in super-light brakes and cranks

In 2002, Ciamillo introduced the Zero Gravity road calipers which hit the market as the lightest calipers on the planet. Since then several models including the Negative G, GSL, Gravitas, Micro, and Lekki8 have maintained this title as the lightest calipers available all while adjusting for the changing rim widths and tire sizes over the years. Today the L8 Ultra is a culmination of two decades of brakesmithing and still the lightest road calipers on the market. With the easiest setup of any model yet produced, the L8 can accommodate the largest rims and tires you can fit on a road bike.

L8 Ultra Calipers

Starting with the Zero G calipers, Ciamillo caliper designs have evolved over the years to accommodate larger rims and tires and streamline the setup and maintenance. Today the L8 Ultra are the lightest calipers for rim brake road bikes on the market. They are 100% made in the USA.

B1 Ultra Calipers

The B1 Ultra road calipers are specifically designed for the Brompton bicycles. These are super-light, customizable calipers that do not require an adapter when installing. They also have clearance for mud guards and extended reach.

B1 Ultra Levers

The B1 Ultra levers were design to compliment the B1 Ultra road calipers for Brompton but they can also be used with the L8 Ultras. They may be the lightest on the market and we offer custom colors and discounts when ordering a set of calipers.

Gravitas Crankset

The Gravitas Gen 13 Crankset is one of the lightest production cranksets in the world. It is lighter than the THM Clavicula at 278g. This is a fully customizable component and we offer solutions for custom applications ranging from hand-bikes to mountain bikes.
